headlights

I want to rewire my headlights (91' scud) so they turn off when the ignition is turned off. Has anyone done this or is it not worth the hassle?

wouldnt be hard just have to find the low voltage suply to the switch and install another relay into the supply that way when you turn off the key it will open the relay and the lights should(ha ha knowing my luck) turn off
