motor spline for warn winch

Post by new2zukes »

hi well ive been looking for an alternative for the expensive warn motors (yes i know they are great motors as i have the 6hp model) and the main problems were different shafts key and splined so ive been serching and found the runva model motors have a splined shaft that looks the same size, but my question has anyone every tred fitting one to a warn, do they have the same spline pattern.

I'm looking into getting an adapter plate made up that will allow our 6.6hp motor with the electromagnetic brake to be fitted to a 8274 top hat :D

I think Come Up motors fit, check with Papakura Auto Electrical...
I have used one on my Warn 9000i but for me I need to tweak it a bit...
They bolt straight on for the low mounts.
