This is my '94 Hilux
I started out this this bad larry 3 years ago standard as.
Within 2 months, i was down the waimak river with water halfway up the front window, thus hydrolicing it. I then had it rebuilt, put a snorkel on it, and 10,000km down the road, the main end bearing shat itself and rooted the motor.
In that amount of time, its been off the road for over a year after hydrolicing it and the blowing it up.
Since then Ive
Put a 94 1KZTE motr on with R151f gearbox (Done by Jeff Brown from J3 automotive)
Topmount intercooler from a Prado
2-4" lifting springs from Bellamy and East
2" body lift
Rear disc Brakes- Hilux solid front diff Disc's and Nissan Primera Callipers
35" KL71's on 15x8 white spokes
1" wheel spacers all round
10x Narva spotlights
Monza Racing seats (comfy as)
Farmer style bar at moment
boost gauge
In a few weeks its getting
A TJM bar
Custom Rock sliders
Twin Battery Setup moved to under deck
Twin 3" snorkels into custom airboxes
Drawbar cut and modified and lifted higher
Future plans include
lockers
bigger radiator
computer chip for boost/fuel cut

Re: KZN106 Hilux buildup
nice looking truck man, will look good with the new bar etc, not that that one looks bad
with the tow bar have you thought about a removable hitch? and have the hitch with a step down to keep it at a usable height then have a straight piece you can put a hook on?

Hi Dan those 35's look small on your truck but how do find them.
Re: KZN106 Hilux buildup
Yea, there's two facing backwards for reverse/work/blinding people lights
When i get the bar work done, im going to get the drawbar modified and lifted higher. Its already got the removable tounge in it and get some recovery hooks put on it
In some of the pics, it has 33's on it. I got the 35's back in March

Re: KZN106 Hilux buildup
Got my new bar and sliders on yesterday
Bar is a TJM item modified from a surf with stronger mounting points reeady for winch
Sliders were made for a hilux.can't remember the thickness of the steel used, but the guy that had them before me had suported his whole truk on them without bending or even getting dents in them
Il get pics up later.having trouble uploading
