Posting photos into a thread

Post by lexulance »

I know that there is multiple posts in the help section about this subject, but there must be an easier way to post photos into a thread that you have started, the way thats outlined in the latest thread about it is very long winded and confusing
there must be an easier option

The way I do it is by uploading them to photobucket, resizing them to 640x480 and copy and pasting the IMG tag into a post on here.

Is that the longwinded way?

When you are composing your post, on the the toolbar at the top under the message title there is a button marked "Img" press that and you will get the following in your post.

[img][img]

Insert the image URL in between these brackets and your image will appear but make sure you have resized it!

Trust me it's not rocket science, once you get the hang of it you'll be posting pics like theres no tomorrow!

when you wave the mouse cursor over the photo on photo bucket a drop down box appears...
then move down to the img bar and left click, it should automatically copy rather than "ctrl + c"
then on the page you are putting the photo on, 1st click the "Img" button, which is below the subject bar..
then "ctrl + v"
