Hey guys have had a look around but cant find enough info on the subject. The LWB is heavier so i figured the springs would be a cheap lift for a SWB? am only wanting 2" at the most to run 33's and want to stay away from a body lift (maybe 1" if needed)
Any help would be great, Cheers

My shorty has had this done. I wouldn't have said i got much of a difference int erms of lift, more like it's now leveled (arse sits just above std) out. My bro did it to his shorty and he was able to comfortably fit 32's.
others may have a different opinion though.

no rubbing or anything with 32inch Dueller M/T's.
on 15x8inch rims and a wide offset.
Gave me about 1inch total lift. probably could have done 33s at a squeeze with some rubbing.

if you want a cheap lift try and pick up some 80 series front springs ten you only have to buy rasied rears. gives 2-3inch lift for cheap
Re: LWB Safari Springs in '88 SWB
Front spring are the same between LWB and SWB. Only the rears are different.
Nissan Terrano coilovers, turboed VH45, Safari axles, and some other stuff.

80 series front springs wont fit into the top mounts of the front of your patrol, theyre too small. The bottom will fit the diff end tho
