Go to bunnings, they sell this plastic stuff for running round the edge of your garden, works primo and is only about 25 bucks for about 5 meters of it, found out about it on this site, running it on my truck and it's proven to be pretty bullet proof.

Yup, no probs for wof, just recently got a cert, and had no issues, my wof guy says they're fine so long as they cover the tires and dont have sharp edges that could cut the old people you might mow down.

problem with garden edging is when you get up against a rut or bank it won't flex. it just pushs in untill the mounts rip out or the panel deforms.

rubber is a much better option IMHO

You can get flexi rubber flares from NZ bus and Truck,
Buy it by the meter....
Buy only what you need...
Don't need to buy a box just to replace one if it gets damaged.
Always in stock....

I use conveyor belt. Its fibre reinforced and can take a bit of a beating while bending out of the way of stuff that can damage more rigid guards/flares.
