Nice work getting up there, I saw the aftermath and was wonder who did it. I was checking out the big chunks of mud the Simex's throw out and can see why they're such a good tyre for those conditions.

haha yeah I thought that track looked familia.

Was a wicked day out today.

Big thanks to Churchill for taking me around the track as there were some good ones and getting under my wagon to bleed the clutch line and help try to fix my issue. I owe you a beer when I next come down mate.

Also Mud Hog for letting me use some of his brake fluid if it wasnt for that we wouldnt have been able to find where the problem was. I owe you a beer as well.

I will post some pics that we have didnt get much as we covered heaps of ground.

Damage for me:
Rear lights and dash lights not going
Slave cylinder seal gone and no clutch pedal

Who says you need a clutch pedal to do a xxxx track :) managed to do it all day like this with great dificulty but i still did all the tracks.

Hey Forge, had a great day today. Your "clutchless" driving was pretty impressive considering it went early on. I managed to scratch the itch, with only damaging the steering alignment and dragging more mud than usual into the car with all the Dukes of Hazard style entry. Good to meet a couple of the others from ore as well today.

Will post a clip once I dl Movie Maker.

Here's a couple more clips from today, great to meet Winston and Ray :D and all the other people we pulled out or just stopped and talked to. At one point I think we had about 7 trucks following us around the tracks

This was some young guy's that asked if they could tag along with us and joined the Patrol convoy

And me trying to get up the clay hill

Bloody miss, but still got there

It sure was an awesome day, great people, great tracks and good wheather.

We only had to do a few recoveries other than ourselves

I think the youg guy's had an awesome time as they could stop smiling and when they left the park they came over to say thanks for the day :D

Rodger has been trying to open up an area for the club guy's to get there teeth into.
The 2 hill climbs are in this newer area and there are still afew more tracks I'm keen to go in and try soon

I'll be back :D

Cheers

Gutted - found all the oil from the transfer case on the garage floor. So, truck is out of action until next week... Looks like some good times in the forest!

That's Ron from our club.

He is a very experienced driver and a top bloke... He is also always happy to put on a good show for us. :D

Thats a very nice 70 Series and he tells me other than the snorkel hats there wasn't any other damage.

Winston

Haha thanks Winston I tell its pretty easy if you have a fair idea lol. Thats good you only had small things haha that was quite amazing watching you get in and out through the window without damaging your window shield things.

Sweet keen to see what footage you have I just started a utube account so Im going to put what we have on there. Unfortunitly none of your truck though, she thougt there was some but it was still pics not videos and the little one got trigger happ and deleted most of the pics and vids but i got a couple left.

PJP: Sorry to head about your transfer case hope fully its not something to major.

that clay down was slippery last time I went, I ended up getting winched down as I kept heading straight for the tree in the middle. thats harp corner was pretty banked so wasn't to worried. I would be in 1st low to get down but it was so slippery that it would just slide. haha.

Looks like you guys had fun. FORGE the truck sounds wicked.

Haha yeah it looked pretty slippery and I was sliding down the hill on the way to this point so we didnt want to risk it.

Haha yeah I like the sound of it as well Winston was saying its quite loud from the outside but having the windows up you can hear it but its not that loud.
