I wouldn't all get excited about the mud, hazards tend to be pegged for technical. Anyone can drive mud with big horsepower and big tyres, no challenge in that

But, like Lincoln said, there is always afterwards. Seeing as it is our family farm, I'm sure we're bound to have a bit of wheelin' through the mud

I still love the technical stuff though, more so than the mud. I will be up later on Saturday morning but my brother will be there from Friday.

Yip. The hazards need to be set for everyone, not just buggies. The club champs use to get allot more club trucks but as its gone on the hazards have been set for more buggies. Just needs to be pegged for every style of truck. Not saying don't put challenging hazards in, just cater for every style of truck :)

There's heaps of different aspects to the farm, so I'm sure there will be a range of hazards, varying from easyish to hard

Harry, Any time you want to organize and peg a club champs you are most welcome to do so.

I always try to peg so that shiney type can get to 80 or 60 without to much effort then they need to work from there. The ends are pegged for the more capable vehicles to give them a challenge, and yes they tend to be the buggys.

Safaris and other heavy type vehicles or vehicles that are not so capable with mud hazards and recovery times always make for a very long day. 12 hazards and 2 of them mud that take an hour to an hour and a half each tend to piss eveyone off due to the waiting time

My problem with that is most of the harder stuff involves big side angles, which are rather like mud. Either your vehicle can do it or it can't so I fail to see your point. Hill climbs are good though

 Don't understand why you would say something like this when you don't know what vehicle I drive, how modified it is, and how long I have been 4wding for. Those who have seen my vehicle in action know that it follows just about anything but a buggy 8)

Harry........You drive a stock standard Suzuki with 30 inch muds and a rear lockrite, you should be able to drive alot of the sidelings that Dan sets. It's just a matter of getting far enough through the course to get to the sidelings ( oh and grow some BALLS young man!) .On the subject of mud, from what I have seen Mud plus horsepower = 8) , something the big boys have over us poor Suzuki guys :(

Mud+suzuki+redline= 8) Yes, I probably could drive some of the sidelings, but not without high risk of damage, and when the vehicle has to be driven home at the end of the day, I am not prepared to take that risk. Mr Lada driver, my zook goes well, very well indeed. :D

Sounds like it going to be a sweet day, the weather looks mint. Not sure though if our truck is classed as a Suzuki anymore :?
