New dizzy needed
Hey was wondering if anyone new where i could find a new distributor for my 3.9 injected v8.
The one in it is not original it has delco remy on top of the coil have seen some on trade me but am having no luck finding one for my engine any help would be great cheers.

is the coil inside the dizzy cap?? and it roughly 175mm in diameter??

To get a new one here in NZ is pricey...VERY pricey, I picked a second hand one up for under a hundy... The part number you need is ERR4254, check prices from Europe, you could get one to your door for $500, new genuine model.

Cheers guys did see some from europe but was kinda hoping not to have to spend 5 hundy.

The coil sits on top of cap with a cover over that

no, the base of the old dizzy needs to be machined to shrink fit to the base of the hei, you reuse the dizzy drive gear from the rover,
very simple job if you can access or can run a reasonably lathe
