Saw a sign on the southern motorway saying something about an up and coming race of some kind.
Im pretty sure it was called the woodhill 500 or something like that.
Anyone know any info on this?
On the sign it had pictures of buggy type vehicles (didnt really look like offroaders)
Woodhill 500?

Woodhill 100, an annual event on Queens Birthday weekend (Sunday) that has been held there for 31 years now. An endurance off road race through the race, a smaller version of the Taupo 1000.
The vehicle on the billboard is last years winner, Raana Horna's Nissan Titan.
Re: Woodhill 500?
Where abouts are good spots to watch this from? I'm keen as to go have a look but want a good spot... Cheers
Re: Woodhill 500?
Only access point to event is via Trig Road, South Head, the top end entrance to the forest.
