I am sick of project vehicles and not having a legal working 4wd.
SO,
We are after a Surf, Prado or similar, not a hilux as we have kids to cart around. Petrol or Diesel, Solid axled would be a bonus, but for the price i'm not holding my breath.
What have you got?

had considered them, but want something I am familiar with and I have a heap of toyota bits /spares from 2 other project vehicles.

A trip to Christchurch for a hospital visit and to catch up with mates eneded up with me busing to Tekapo (4 hrs) and driving back a 1996 jeep Grand Cherokee. 4x4 problem solved

I won't disagree with you. 1kz prado was at the top of the list.
