We ended up continuing on with the other lot that turned up, up past rangiora doing tracks up there. Was good fun!

Pretty successful weekend all up, new wheels and tyres fitted. 32x11.5 Nankang N889's which fit perfect and don't rub anywhere.

Then Took it for a decent bash on Sunday with Some of the Shore 4Wheel boys and had an absolute blast, looking forward to the next run!

Pics and video to come when I get it from my co-pilot... did have to get towed a bit... steep sandy hills were my downfall... the little Navara that could proved incredibly capable overall though I am stoked! just need a little more power... and some more experience... and maybe a rear locker... and to fix whatever is now vibrating under the floor lol.

get some lockers for it, also rear axle tends to get all the drive when going gets soft , yank on the hand brake, to slow the rear wheels and feed the drive to the front wheels, I've done it in a ute and it works

How can you slow the rear wheels only?

All the wheels should be spinning the same speed :?:

Handbrake is a rangi locker to try even load between the back wheels but in no way it should send power to the front.......

pics of my turbo conversion on my L200

what i started with gutless non turbo

some of the parts ready to bolt on,L300 turbo and manifold,pajero inlet manifold to take the pajero intercooler

L300 oil filter housing with the drain for the turbo

turbo and manifold on

all together and runnin still got a few finishing touchs to like a bit of paint here and there and replace the powerade catch can :lol:

that turbo conversion looks great!! when pete is involved things happen at a huge rate! i actually belive that petes ability to work hard counter-acted the shift in the earth after the recent Japan Earthquake :wink:

Ok crack up I have been going through the search function seeing what is said about these and you put it all in one sentence haha.

Lucky for me its the wifes car so its only going to see shiny trips but now I have a tow car for the bighorn :lol:

no more high fuel bills to get to woodhill.

I got those springs in as well there was no change in the height but made it really stiff in the rear end just what it needs as its really boaty with the factory springs. Only down side is they fall out at full flex lol I might get some coil spacers to help fix that problem.

how about the ARb 2'' lift breaks rear shocks. rear trailing arm bushes flogg out,
