Real men have no windscreen, no doors or rear windows. THAT'S REAL aircon. Anything else is being soft.

Counting down the days!

Just a reminder to everyone to make sure they have plenty of warm gear.
As well as the tent in case you don't get a spot in the hut you'll want a thick sleeping mat or a few thin ones to stack together to keep you well insulated from the ground.
It might be hard to find a spot perfectly level so don't bring any of those crap ones with foil on one side unless you want to slide around the tent on it. Would be good for a makeshift sled behind a truck though

There may be one or two people who snore, I won't name names in case JERRY reads this, so ear plugs could be a good bet as a pillow just doesn't cut it

The shot of the blue shit near the glacier lake is making me thirsty!

Flick me a PM if you're keen to come.

Bring on the snow

Luxury up there now. After your complaint last year about not being able to style and dry your hair they installed a hair dryer.

What about the door knob on the front door Graham, did that get replaced? Last time I was in there it was a pain trying to open the door sometimes.

Cheeky sod...wasn't me. That door was a nuisance every time I went in there, left a memo in the visitor book that I was gonna take a new one in with me on the next trip and replace it, just haven't been back since 2009 I think it was.

Check out the DOC website. Good maps on there free to download or you can send in a portable hard drive and they fill it up, also for free.

LOL Jamie. It was last July when I was up there and the door wasn't bad but it was still faulty.
If you have a replacement it wouldnt take up much room in your truck.
Put it in the box with the 50 cent fuses. LOL
