91 Pajero 2.5 td 3 door

Hi all, just got my self a 2.5 td 3 door Paj
Lokking to mod it to make it a capable off road vehilce. :D

Mods so far completed
50mm rear suspension lift
Wound up front torsion bars to suit.
Removed rear sway bar
Rancho Rs9000xl shocks all round
Front suspension ball joint flip.
Uniden UH7700NB two way
New 31 inch mudders
Front and rear recovery hooks


Mods in hand ( all ready have parts )
Safari snorkel
Trail maxx 12000 lb winch
On board air
Front winch bar being made

What other mods are suggested
Body lift perhaps? :?:

When doing the body lift, cut and tuck the fuel tank, will give you a better departure angle. Then go to 33's 8) :mrgreen:

Rock sliders for sure and a set of chains for the 31's for the mean time :twisted:

Don't forget to add the compulsory mud and dents, best mod's my trucks have had :lol: :lol:

and a set of chains for the 31's for the mean time :twisted:

Opps all so got a set of HD chains with ice breakes this week as well

Have taken the side steps off and are going too get a set of sliders made in the next week or so :)

Well took your advice and ordered a set of
33/11.5-15 Jungle Trekker 6pr 117Q TL today
I want to run them on steel wheels, Does anyone
have any advice on the best off set to go for :?:
They need to be 9 inch wide 8)

On my old Paj I had Nissan Rims and by memory they were -23 offset on an 8inch rim. Someone may chime in with the right offset though, but I'm 99.99% sure that is what they were :?

why do they need to be 9 inches wide??? for that size tyre a 8 inch wide should be fine

Just whats recommended on Simexs web site
Been talking to my tyre guy, he says 8" should be ok
Just need to confirm if patrol wheels are the go??
i will what to run 4 chains from time to time.

Have started on the bumpers now, will add some pics at the weekend
Have shortend a wrangler titan tow bar as the main part of the rear
having 10mm plate cut for the winch mount plate

Just need to get at finished so i can go play

Just a thorght does anyone have real time Topo maping in there truck???
Im wanting to get a 5" screen like a tomtom or something but for offroad, ie topo maps

yea your tyre guy is right , 8 inch will be sweet , and as afar as i am awar i think Patrol rims are only 7 inch wide , ( just for you to check before buying ) 8)
