Safari GQ LWB wrecking

Post by muddy »

I've got a written-off Safari to strip for parts. Good TD42 and 5 speed gearbox listed on trademe. I'll be keeping axles, diffs, CV's etc for spares, but if anyone's looking for panels, chassis, standard (no lift) suspension parts or the like, then let me know... I've got 3 weeks to get rid of it to keep the wife happy...

It's white - black bonnet.

Front windscreen is good, but I can't guarantee I can get it out without breaking it... What's it worth to you? Cheaper if you remove it yourself. In fact, I'd do you a good deal if you want all the glass, and remove it yourself..

You can have it for nothing - but (and this really surprised me) it's an armstrong steering box - no power steering on this old girl....

$20 plus (I'm guessing) $10 for the courier. It's only got one pump on it - no rear washer circuit. And 24Volt...

I'm keeping all the undamaged suspension parts for spares. You can have the bent rear housing for nothing if you think you can straighten it. The right rear trailing arm ripped the mount off the chassis and moved about 80mm back, and the wheel was turned out about 15 degrees...

Sorry I'm keeping the lights for my own spares - but the windscreen should fit. Where are you?

Unfortunately it disappeared before I got the truck...

Not an awful lot left that I don't plan on keeping for myself..

Windscreen, rear side windows, front guards (slightly damaged but no rust), doors (including rear doors), springs & panhard rods (standard height)...
