35s on 70 series cruiser

Post by 92 safari 17 »

hey all,

Brought a Landcruiser 1988 70 sereis, swb turbo diesel yesterday :D , just wondering if 35 muddies would fit under it with no lift, however it apears to be abit higher than stock but im unsuer, so wuld i fit 35s under it with no lift?

i will eventualy lift it but in the mean time i wont have the money to lift it. :(

Cheers

you can get them in there if the springs arent sagged but there will be plenty of rub

Theyll fit with minimal rub with only 2" lift springs an redrill the front spring perches to move the front axle about 25mm forward

The stock one I saw would in no way fit 35s standard   Even 33's rubbed like crazy. Its got cart springs correct?? A small shackle lift would help and be cheap n easy but your castor will be on the piss if you go too high.

You probably saw one with sagged stock springs  My 2" lift kit lifted mine 4" an 35s fitted pretty well. Dont bother with big ugly shackles theyll fark up your shackle angles an make it drive like a pig
