Just built this for a rice rocket. 4mm wall steam pipe. Thinking of setting up a jig for TD42 and making a few.

I cant recommend Corey from Downtown Auto Wreckers enough.....his prices were amazing.....3k to build the manifold.......and intercool the truck...........complete with new 3inch exhaust all the way through......and 3.5k to redo suspension....body lift.......and install heavy duty clutch.

The red nolathane bushes in the panhard rods aren't very good and will chop out with use and give the "Nissan Death Wobble". Chuck some genuine Nissan rubber bushes at it soon.

What susp lift has it got? Lift the bracket for the rear brake proportioning valve if the lift is more than 2".

Cool...I will get that sorted....I presume they can just be sourced from a Nissan dealer?
And...."Rear brake proportioning valve"..???? HUH?? I will get Corey to look at it :)

Bushes direct from Nissan. Do a search, I've posted the part numbers for them on here previously.

Proportioniing valve is the dog-legged shaped bracket on the top of the rear diff (in the 2nd to last pic) with spring attached. The more tension on the spring, the less bias to the rear brakes is applied. So lift the bracket where it attaches to the rear diff (those 2 bolts orientated vertically) to take some tension off the spring. Lift the bracket by the amount the susp is lifted. Most just take the spring and bracket off and chuck it away. Your call......

Re the injector pump, some folk modify them with a larger diameter rotor and plunger for increased fuel potential. But depending on the turbo, it can be a waste of time if you don't have the cfm to match the additional fuel. helps that you've already intercooled though. Standard GQ (Y60) pump uses 10mm plunger, early GU (Y61) uses 10mm also, later GU's use 11mm etc.....so simplest is to throw a late GU pump at it.

If you mod your standard pump, then can also add an aneroid to sweeten up the fuel delivery and reduce black smoke down low / from start off etc. Turbo pumps already have the aneroid.

They look like Tough Dog units.....but they usually come with genuine Nissan bushes already in place.
