Newbie in Auckland

Post by 2DEAFN »

Hi Guys ,

I have now been a member of the site for a year or so , after flicking through plenty of information , pics and some wicked build threads i thought it was about time i introduced myself properly.

I have been 4 wheeling for a few years now , started of with a little 1.6 escudo with , Mud tires , small spring lift , front and rear custom bars and a winch. After plenty of fun and going through 3 front diffs and plenty of cv's decided to sell it and get a bit more serious. After a good 12 months of research and missing out on all the fun have decided to take on another project. So went out and brought a LN106 bare chassis and going to do a ground up/custom build.

Going to be trailered to and from the tracks and fun days etc so whilst doing plenty of research etc went and brought a tow wagon so when the builds complete i can get straight into it.
Once i get a bit more ahead of myself and gather some more parts i will start a build thread for all you blokes who love the pic porn

Cant wait to get out there with some of you guys and meet plenty of new faces and have loads of fun !!

Cheers Kurt

Hi Kurt,

Do you belong to a club? What part of Auckland are you in?

Cheers

Hi Ruben ,

Nah i am not a member of any club yet , working shift work and different roster patterns every week makes it hard to get to the club meetings.Although im sure im not the only shift worker on here so if there is ways around it please let me know.

And i live in New Lynn

Welcome aboard... even though you have been here longer than me lol.

I am sure Lincoln from NorWest will be in touch. I have been out with both Norwest and Shore 4wheelers and they are both a bunch of absolute good ba#$ards.

I work nights too so cant make club meetings... more important to show up and get dirty I reckon though :D

Normally a spare seat or two going on the runs too and always happy to have an extra spade hand lol.

Hit one of us up if you want to ride along, if I'm loaded up I'm sure someone will be happy for you to ride shotgun
