Whats even more simple is the fact that he has stated he runs 30" tyres, so why would you need to lift a Suzuki more than 100mm for farm work? If it isn't lifted more than that, there would be no need for joining a club, if it's over, just drop it, surely under 100mm lift will still get you round the farm?
its also the $400 cost for someone to take 10minutes to check that u tightened 10 or whatever bolts up.
Have you seen how body lifts effect body mounts, or the forces changed on the bodymouts after a body lift?

For the most part stock movement shouldn't be done on the roads, shit is hard on vehicles and on the roads which are bad enough anyway!

Some interesting reading here guys! lol Just doing a build atm and this new law going to affect me a little, just after a bit of clarification. If i have a total lift over 100mm i require cert and have to join a 4wd club, If under 100mm i just require cert? Did i get this rite or wrong?
If so dose anyone know the factory height of a ln130/ln131 surf? lol Thanks

So your farm hack will be running over 4" lift? If not, you should NOT need an authority card. Nothing else has changed, if you need to get a cert, the rules are the same.
farm rego class b,do wot ya like , i have been for years before i got certed for ute conversion ,turbo,etc, no RUC'S no WOF needed but a always had one and less than $50 a year for rego vince....
my cert cost $570 all up on my safari,ute conversion,roll cage,turbo,35's,rims,intercooler,front diff moved forward,panard rods,rear trail arms,2 seats,steering wheel yes you have to get that done aswell,even my bonnet scoop has to be done.3inch exhaust,4 inch coil lift etc.if aint factory get it certed dont matter how small,this includes coil spacers if you have them
$570 aint alot of money that will only just buy 2 decent tyres,and your fines will exceed this now,and hope it never happens but a un certed fourby in a crash, weather its a safe mod or not ur in da shit if it aint certed mods no insurance etc.

For the sake of $500 I'd be getting a cert rather than risk no insurance. Another case of certifiers not having the same standards. You could take the same vehicle to 3 different guys, all 3 would have different opinions.
