Started strippin it tonight, got the rear bumper and fuel tank out so i can weld the rear spring platforms back in to the chassis and diff,it was runnin fox coil overs in the rear i will keep the lower mount on the diff and the turrets on the chassis for when i can afford coil overs, till then i will stick with coil springs and the twin shocks in all four corners that it came with

I've probably got a motor and box kicking around if you need one!!!!

It would only have half the cylinders of the standard pajero motor and it would be two stroke, but would make up for it in koolies

Skidz OWWWWWWWWWWWWN

Big day today on the truck, spent a couple of hours down at bryant rd dismantlers in the donor paj removing a wiring loom from the engine bay and behind the dash this is what i ended up with

Image

While its lay out was still fresh in my mind i fitted it straight away
i will get the auto sparky i use to go through the under dash part of the loom on monday to see what we can get rid of

Image

Image

Then removed the flimsy bent and streched alli rear panel and made a new one out of panel steel

Keepin it simple to start with i will run a 3.0 V6 pajero engine and box,and get out there and do some racing.Class 2 pro trucks are limited as far as engines go,they have to be from the same manufacture,so for the future i could go down the 3.5 or 3.8 track

Can you stick an EVO in it ? (does class 2 allow that?) Way more power potential than a mitsi v6 and lighter.

And by that i mean an lancer EVO not Pajero EVO

get a starion bottom end and build that up to evo spec with dohc head and all that? I would've thought that all pajero stuff was deemed as 'wideblock' and most evos are 'narrowblock' (the difference is only two bellhousing studs and their distance from each other or something?
alterntatively, chuck a datsun 720 transfer case behind a sigma gearbox which will bolt to most evo engines. 8) they handle 400hp easily.

or turbo 6g72? the options are endless.

this kinda thing is so cool. hoping you do a sweet long travel suspension getup for it.

The rule on engines for the class said the engine must have come out in the vehicle or be from a updated model and no turbos or superchargers unless the engine was manufactured with one
As for the suspension the turrets are there for the big coilovers, but it wont get them till money allows, just wana go and have fun for now :D
