Im heading up there on the 16th July for a day trip, with some mates. To have a look at what sort of condition the track is in etc........... Anything you want sussed out??

My trip back up there yesterday(16th July)...........

Snow on the road up.

Snow in the river bed.

Snow is getting deeper.

Bugga where did that track go?????

The track we had to cut to get to the hut.




Views from he hut.

View looking back up the valley on the way out.
Heaps of snow at the hut, around 500mm and deeper in the drifts. If there is anymore snow in the next week or so, good luck camping out!!!
