Rolled BJ70 rebuild

G'day all

Thought it about time I chuck this thread up

All started a few months back when 2 BJ70's came up on trademe . 1 was a rolled 1986 red SWB 70 , the other was a NZ new 1985 red SWB 70 with alot of rust

Couldn't resist and it all started from there

Heres the progress so far

Brought Keri's body off him , Bit of a mission getting that From Queenstown to Christchurch......

The Family..

Few late nights in the shed stripping out stuff

Til the day came to remove body

Wa la body off , looking a little sad

New body on


Few more late nights , rolled it out today for a few shots



The planned future specs/mods

Snorkel
PTO winch
Lockers ( Looking for factory cable lockers)
SOA conversion or coils , Haven't yet decided
Bars
Engine either 1HZ or 1HD-T . Currently has 3B
Oh and 35's

Thats a negative , both the rolled body and the 85' one were pretty shot . I may have another body available soon in better condition , what are you wanting one for?

the prevous owner drilled for speakers hole inside just above seatbelt mounts was seeing if i could cut a bit out
weld them back in not often that parts buggered
