VH44 Booster problems

Put a vh44 booster in my truck in the front brake circuit an now the front circuit seems to be holding pressure an holding the front brakes on.
Anyone had this problem with the vh44 before?

Im about to go off an rip shit apart an start investigating wether its actually in the booster or in the master cylinder any ideas would be appreciated so much for the other stuff I had planned to do today

All fixed now, pulled everything apart including the vh44. Found sweet FA until I was putting the booster back together an found a split in the small hose that keeps the vacuum equal between both sides of the booster diaphram. Put new hose on . Put everything back together an all is working as it should

What is the VH44 booster off and how big is it? I'm looking seriously and running twin MC and no booster but finding a booster that will fit will make life a little easier.

Not sure what the vh44 is usually fitted to, I got mine from BNT. You can also get a vh40 which has a bigger vacuum diaphram.
Niether are cheap but make a huge difference to brake performance, so well worth it

Even how the vh44/40 compares to the standard Safari booster?

Id imagine the vh44/40 would be smaller than the original booster

I would think itd be best used in conjunction with the factory unit on a vehicle as heavy as a 4x4. Although my experience is only based on the smaller model vh44. The vh40 might be enough to do the job by itself

It would be a good upgrade/remote replacement for a small light weight circuit car

One problem I have is there isn't enough length to fit factory booster and MC as the coilovers are too close to the firewall.
One option is to move the fire wall but I think small booster and MC or no booster and twin MC's is a better option.
Twin MC is the best option for racing but also the most work as have to change pedal ratio as well as mount twin MC's.

Somebody may correct me if Im wrong but I was told Hillman Hunter or maybe Avenger used VH44 booster from the factory. I run a VH40 on my old Falcon, mounted up under the R/F Guard.

Ah now things start to make sense! The Hillman booster is something we have tossed around.
