Newbie in Canterbury

Hi, i'm new on the board, i'm only 2 years in Christchurch coming from Ireland. I just installed a rough country 4"5 lift on my XJ jeep cherokee and some old 32" maxis buckshot 8 mm left only !!! :wink: .
I'm looking for to joint a good 4x4 club if any body has a suggestion :D , i don't have much experience but doing okay , usually go fishing in the high country and go has far i my gut allow me ( not too far i must admit) Been looking at forum for the last 5/6 weeks absorbing all the threads !!! a lot people have serious experience there :D :D , hopefully i will be part of some out soon.....

Thank you for the welcome, just need to find a good club in CHCH hopefully there is some fly fisherman around :lol: :lol: , i'll post the photo of the XJ after the weekend..
Looking now the threads on tires need new one soon , 31", 32" or 33" don't know yet.. :roll: :roll:

Hi and welcome, its great to hear theres another fly fisherman or two on here, im an avid fly fisherman and have done a little bit of tying, but reckon its just easier to buy them from the shop,thats my excuse anyway :lol: :lol:

Hopefully we can meet one day on the water , i always go on my own 4x4 and fishing can be sometime interesting , got stuck many times :lol: :lol: that's my excuse for not coming back on time ... :mrgreen:

Yep 4wding and fishing can be a bit of fun, had some afternoon fishing trips that have turned into big recovery missions because i had to get that extra 200m up the river :roll:
Do you fish locally, there is some very good fishing to be had thats less than an hours drive from chch, big and stroppy fish :D

yep been there in the recovery :lol: :lol: i fish the high country lake , river like pouter, hurunui upper , opihi river, sometime rakaia haven't been lucky with salmon ..
