i reckon its bloody cool (never seen it in person and no nothing about it). As for why it hasn't sold, there are simply not that many people out there that have that sort of money for a truck thats never going to be on the road and only a trailer toy. I sure wish i had the funds to buy or build something similar

Yep..... and that goes for plenty of other toys for sale that are road legal or not, no ones got the money or wants to justify spending the money at the moment

yes fair enough no ones spending money at the moment. Do you ever think it could be on the road with a bit of money spent on it? and what would need to be done?

a little inside info tells me hes wanting the start price plus about half again

its the same old story, people never want to pay for a completed truck but if they were try and build it themselves it would end up costing twice as much if not more

Sadam got his cruiser for a good price and you couldn't build it for that, same with PeteFJ40s cruiser and his recent sale.

if you have the coin then you can spend it, but most people these days seem to be spending their money on upgrading their own wagons with new bits rather than outright buying a new toy :|

when people ask me these days what I think their vehicle is worth, I tell them "its currently worth what somebody is willing to pay for it"

I've seen it (although not out on the trail) and bought some bits off the guy.

He is OK, but some of the engineering looks a bit 'home built'. Truck looks like it goes well, but I suggest you take a close look at the suspension and steering geometry, welding, etc. It's a bit rougher to look at "in the flesh" but still a weapon.

I bought my surf off him a few years ago and the only thing i could fault him on was the wiring for the engine conversion which was done by an auto electrician. He builds roll cages for a living from what he was telling me so a bit suprised about the welding, the welding he did on my one was pretty good. Looks like a pretty mean machine!
