We have to pull back from the Pasload trip and will instead be attending the shine trip.

might have to break out my wet weather gear looking at the forecast :(

Hey guys, coming over from Upper Hutt.

As I understand it I come over the Haywards, then turn off on the road that used to lead through to Moonshine road (not sure if it still does).

How do I find the entrance from there, or will it be completely obvious.

Looking forward to finally meeting some of you guys - anyone thought of giving everyone a label with their ORE username on it so we know who we are meeting? LOL

Yep halfway through the haywoods turn off onto moonshine road and follow it for 5-6km then turn left at the junction onto bulls run road, about another 5-6km up bulls run road about where the seal ends there is a bridge on your left, that leads to the enterance gate into the akas but you'll probably want to stay on bulls run road and go another 1.5km up past the motorcross tracks and you'll end up at the large rallywoods gates infront of you, drive through the gates and up onto the terrace and thats where they will be doing the trip briefing etc

failing that just follow all the other vehicles :mrgreen:

Had an awesome day, thanks heaps to those who organised it all, an to those who turned up to drive.
Great first trip for my truck apart from the "arm strong" steering with 5psi in the 37"s an filling my radiator an clutch full of mud, still couldnt wipe the smile off my face :mrgreen:
