failing that you you may be able to use a relay?
12v power off 1 battery, then 24v to switch?
prob wont work but??????

yeah a 24v relay will work and run em off one battery. Would be a good idea to have a charge equaliser or one of the equivalent boat things that does the same job if you done that though. I had to get one as the lights and accessories were hard on the batteries.

run them in series, pain in the arse to isolate the earth on each but works well, until 1 bulb goes bang and you lose both. better yet 24v bulbs

I got a 24v to 12v convertor to run a headunit/amp on my cruiser and you should be able to run lights off those. at Jaycar for about $70

Those cheap converter things don't allow much current a lot of the time . I'd go 24v bulbs as well if someone hadn't stuck 12v spots on mine before I bought it.

I was going to do this, as it's much easier to find a cheap set of 12v spots than cheap 24v spots.

Just run 24v into the pair (in series), switched by a 24v relay.

if you have 4 lights and are too cheap to buy new bulbs. run them in series wired pairs... simple.

I don't even have 4 lights...

I have two, crappy 24v headlights.

Tried to improve them by fitting 90/100w bulbs, replaced inserts with new, rewired from battery with relays and they still look like two candles...
