I would like to mount a couple of discreet vents on either side of my bonnet towards the rear to allow heat to disipate quicker.
There are only fake vents on trademe at the moment. Anyone know where else to get something like this from?
Cheers
Matt.

Krawlr had a wicked idea which I'm going to do. He somehow extended/packed his bonnet mount up 10mm (washers i believe)which gives a nice 10mm gap around the edge of the bonnet. I didnt even notice it till he pointed it out and the amount of heat coming from out there was impressive to say the least. Simple but effective

Hey guys I did the bonet thing on a race car the heat takes some of the oil antifreese etc to the screen another thing the engine area fills up with water faster too.
Just so you are aware I had to clean the window more and put dishwashing liquid in the window cleaner for cleaning on rainy days.
Apart from that you can possibly just remove the rubber sealing strip at the back of the bonet depends on the amount of heat to remove.
You can add vents later if you want to or need to.
