Safari SWB

Post by corosafari »

Finally figured it out , I was not highlighting IMG code when attempting copy.
Had it a couple of months after the misses pinched the 100 series of me.
88 Safari/Maverick with ford badge on the rear and Nissan on steering Wheel.
I have just fitted 33" Hankook MT with -20 offset rims so some homemade flares to come. 2" EFS Springs with OME shocks. Factory rear diff lock , PTO output but fitted with 12000lb Runva winch. Bit rough round the edges but running gear good. 4.2TD , Manual.
Still got 15 " rims with 31 " buckshots I may upgrade to bigger more aggressive muds , so probably a bit of guard chopping to do. Want to set up to do closest tracks around Coro.
Got Safari snorkle with it , just the outer bit so need to source or make internal bits.
Its got a nasty dent at back of roof from loosing a battle with a falling tree ( previous owner) , intial intention was to do a ute chop but stilling thinking about it .
Thats all for now
 Shite, got all fuzzy about sorting photo I posted in wrong heading , should be 'Show us your Nissan' , is there a way to correct this?
thanks

Yeh liked colour scheme as a bit different , was some sort of company vehicle from SI. The original rims are white with matching colour scheme in way of pinstriping although a little rusty now.
mmm na not me playing with photo on guard , thats some doozy panel work there.[img][/[IMG]http://i976.photobucket.com/albums/ae250/corosafari/fordmaverick003.jpg[/img]img]
You should be able to see damaged roof , that ripple effect aint bog , no rust in this one but the result of jacking roof back up without heat to shrink steel I think. The tree smash the right hand window also. But the Nissan still won as the tree got cut up into firewood
With my last LWB I was to worried about panel damage as it was quite tidy , I dont have that concern now

That sounds like the one , it apparantley got stolen and damaged , his mate scored it to fit to his running gear as he had rusty body. Thats who I got it off. Got to say it drives pretty good.
