cheers all for a great trip, big thanks to cindy for the blue shit! was a good night on friday. and cheers to jeremy for leading us upto the glacier, would not have made it up without his sweet leading skills!

sory nick, i didnt have the binos out, i was takeing a pic with tha camera, so yes i do have a pic of a standed hilux (trying) to pull you out :mrgreen:

cheers jerry for blowing that pic up for us, :oops: :oops: :wink:

i have some good footage from the gopro i had on the side of the truck, will try to post some of it up as i get the chance, will also try and get the whole lot put on cds for everyone

yep the tempeture was definately a lot milder this year, it was sunny the whole time down there :mrgreen: yeah I think I must have been trying to order a couple more rounds of beer in those photos :oops: :lol:

Swore it was binos, owell i love the blown up picture, was hoping someone got a picture of it, very rare to see :) great pics very deep and meaningful pictures of hillfilly's conversation friday night

Hi guys, hey big thanks to the Taz (south island) for the trip, also to the north island boys and girly's for the trip down, was great to put more names to faces, Also to the rest or the crew from the main land was great to catch up with you all again has been awhile. the blue shit what more can be said bout that????? I think it has all be said. Iwill have to make sure the truck is ready to try the easter trip? Taz and jjkb looks like a great trip up to the red hut. was it well worth doing? will have a look though my pic and see if there any i got the that haven't got up yet?

Taz and jjkb looks like a great trip up to the red hut. was it well worth doing?


Well worth a look. Easy going for the most of it, until the snow got deeper and the bolders got bigger. River was not much more than tyre deepth. More epic veiws. Red Hut would be a great place to be base for a few days, and just relax, do walks, go for a drive etc.
If you break it... build it stronger.

Some of the boys down here are looking at going up the Godley, once the snow has left the valley floor. Late August/early September. Once we sort out a date that suits us, I'll start a new thread with the info etc....
