anyone know what these winches are like?

Seem to come with all the right bits but am are unsure on the quality

Cant be much different to the runva ones, price seems pretty good too

yeh thats why i'm looking. not sure on the electric freespool though. Would be hoping that it would still work when nose is buried on a swamp runner when doing comp soon. Esp when its 2am!!. Gota love 24hr challenges

Use it with the battery cable supplied and you will fry the motor. It is 25mm which is good for about 250amps only. The cable needs to be upgraded to at least 50mm but really 70mm is minimum if you have a 6hp motor version. I always use 95mm for competition winches but that is about duration of winching and not getting any heat build up.

yep that they are. Do know that they are pulled down and have far better seals fitted and have the electric free spool taken off and a manual level put on. The electric f/spool isn't sealed so no good in water.
Due to cost restrants i've gone for the 12000lb runva.
