Advice on a Landcruiser SX 1kz-te

Has anybody had one of these 1994 landcruiser SX with the 3 litre 1kz in it? Im looking at buying one with around 270000 ks on the clock and thinking this could be a wee bit high k's? Cheers fellas

heads can be an issue with the 1kz if not serviced properly/thrashed
70 series prado (KZJ78) and 90 Series Prado (KZJ95)

my 96 surf at 276 is still going strong - they love fresh oil, so long as they have had plenty frequently they keep on keeping on

thing is if you are working the engine hard and the temperature gauge starts to move up get you big boot out fast, for this reason in the process of pulling the exhaust gas recirc off and fitting egt gage to the blanking plate on the exhaust
