Carb hat for g16a needed!!!!!1

done the g16a 8v conversion in my sammy. the g13a carb hat doesnt fit and didnt get one with my g16a. Do the g16a 8v carbs use the same airbox system or is it different. Someone whos done the same will no. Cheers!

Suzookyman on here has done that conversion and is running the stock carby hat. Why won't it fit?

it hits on the carb about 10mm away from seating down to the carb.

The G16 uses a different intake system .
I'd check if their is spacer on the lockdown thread , or just make a rubber spacer to fill in the difference.
