Akas tree planting 3rd Sept - Volunteers Needed

Greater Wellington Regional Council have arranged to undertake some more plantings in the headwaters of the Whakatikei River. (top of Hydro Valley near the causeway - Manufacturers Challenge area.)

Planting day is Saturday 3rd September and ARAC are calling for volunteers to support this endeavour.

Meeting Place:

9am Totora Park gate for those coming from the east.
9:30am Maungutukutuku Gate (Perhams Road) for those coming in from the West.

Planting will take a couple of hours and will be followed by a barbecue lunch.
