Snorkel hose help

Hi,
The hose going from my air intake box to the engine has a split in it.
Its the hose with tape around it Toyota quoted $80 something dollars to get a new replacement,
surely I can use intercooler piping or something similar to fix the problem



Thoughts??

you can use intercooling pipe but im not sure it would be to much cheaper than the original part. i would get that fixed sooner rather than later as your engine will be sucking in unfiltered air at the moment
