Best you get rid of that white stuff before Novembers event. Dont want to have to pack the heater like we are for Taupo 1000

We just got home. It took us over an hour and a half to get from the green hut to the gate.
A big tree over the road ment we had to wait for the rest of the crew at the bridge. The sound of the big Pines breaking put the shits up me....

shit it was a bit tricky getting back home to makara, I went up through J'ville and there were cars and busses abandoned all over the road going up the hill and the road was tapped off at the top so I weighed my options up and decided on makara hill through karori coz its awfully isolated through ohariau valley and the gorge if something goes wrong, makara hill was closed as well but other than a couple of abandoned cars that slid off some corners heading down into makara was ok
