Looking great work. What are your plans? Comp it or just a tuff club truck?
Comp rig: Suzuki Vitara, L67 Supercharged V6 Commie and auto, Prado chassis and diffs. Gigglepin 8274 twin motor rear mounted winch, air free spools, 35" Silverstones, ect

just a truck to play around in mainly up rivers and on the coast. i do enjoy competing tho so planing on running a small winch on each corner to winch it down/adjust the ride hight to suit the style of driving.its running 18" fox air shox at the moment so will need some type of travel limiting system for speed use, its running 4" fox hydro bumpstops to so if i can lower it down almost onto them i rekon itl be about good, the idea behind it was

1.not to heavy (especialy in the roof)
2.strong drive chain (hence the safari axles)
3.decent powerfull motor thats relyable and simple and thats wea the 1kz with manual fuel pump comes into play

I know that feeling   Nice work but... In one of the pics of the rear end it looks like the pinnion is facing down when its at full droop? Are you upper links adjustable?

Also how are you planning on running the hydro steering on the saf axle?

the pinion stays just above level throughout travel the top arms are 70% the length of the bottom arms and the two angles roughly meet at the centre of the front face of the front tyre, and as for hydro steer,if you get a drivers side swivel housing off an older leaf sprung axle it fits on and gives you the other foward facing steering knuckle point then just weld the mounts to the diff, armour it all up and your away laughing

When you say level does it follow roughly the same arc as the diff or does it stay roughly level with the ground?
Will the gq cvs still fit in the earlier swivel housing?

pretty much level with the ground. im by no means a suspension geomerty expert haha i just did a bit of asking around and a bit of looking online and got the basics, hopfuly it works ok,best part of being a heavy fabrication apprentice is that if it dosnt work ill just chop it out and do it again haha

If it stays level with the ground itll pull the slip joint apart, you could start by looking at the seperation of the chassis link mounts, if you drop the top link chassis mounts down a bit it should work better,
Mine isnt quite right , it pushes the d/shaft towards the transfer case  but theres only about 20mm movement at the slipjoint so I can live with that

yea the drive shaft distance pretty much dosnt change to much threwout travel,im guna make my own drive shafts using cv's rather than universals hopfully and have a place that i can buy lenghts of slip joint so i can make the slip joint pretty long if needed, wana make them pretty tough as i enjoy a bit of crawling from time to time
