hi
im have removed my diesel engine and fitting a petrol in its place. i allready have a pump to fit in the diesel tank but am not sure what to use to flush out the diesel tank and lines?
what have u guys used to flush them after draining empty?
i suppose a very little of diesel residue wont harm anything (injectors)?

I just gave it a quick slush out with petrol then put a full tank in, was a bit smokey for half an hour then was all good.
swb lux with 7mge, trailgear crossover, trailgear rear lift kit, custom front bar, runva 1200lb winch, custom snorkel, 37" Mtrs, custom deck, lockright in the rear.

cheers for that - was the smoke caused from the oil content in diesel? if so i guessing no harm for only the short time of burning diesel?

yeah by the time I drove it from home to the garage for wof cert it was sweet

the parafin in desiel is ment to lube as it is pumped through so it wont hurt anything for a small amoutn of time ,yea we used petrol or kero to kleen it out of the truck tanks and gave it a good rub as it can leave residue ,(we cleaned them out because they had desiel bug so we were pretty pedantic about it)
