Had a productive weekend, found a loose wheel bearing in my ifs surf, must of been when i put it on the flex ramp and it changed the angle of the wheel. Ohwell, couldnt work out how to adjust it, so i got this turned up at a local engineering outfit:

Its an adjustable cv shaft, so when you lengthen it, it pushes on the back of the bearing adjusting the play. Hope it works because it cost a bit to get made up.

looks like someone glued some 16mm reo bar between your cv's!! please get a better photo!!

edit: ohh and that is not how you adjust your wheel bearing either. get a workshop manual or even better take it to a mechanic before you try to use that toothpick axle you had made up.

Ummm errrr thats not how yah do it...

took simexs off, put the k71's back on for wof and stuff, found sump bolts needed a tweek up, washed the last of the porters road pumice off the brakes an chassis.
was a bastard being under the truck and that crap fall off all the time, :D
added Wet seat neopream covers after a day night raining trip wets seats are no fun

also sick of opening both rear door for recovery gear the box now opens both ends and in half so only open small door and not get killed by the spare wheel

Went and picked up 4 new Rims for the 40 on saturday, will take them in to be modified on monday.

Sunday put the snorkal on and pulled the air box out to to be modified. Just got to blank of the old air intake and and put a new one on the back.
