Aug 27-28th
Ill start this one.
I decided this morning that I will try my fist attempt at removing rust from a car. The vehicle in mind is the Safari.
There was some bubbles along the roof (high roof) and the top corners of the windscreen.
Its not a professionals job but its better than it was and its not going to be an issue for the next buyer when I sell it.
(pics tomorrow)
On the cards tomorrow is to figure out why the bighorn is sitting down on the passengers side...
any ideas?
So far swapped the new springs over with no change.

Re: Aug 27-28th
Wicked day today:
Got up at 5am to get my 7am flight down to Palmy North. Got picked up at the airport from the car dealer. Fiddled all the paper work and drove away in my new Jeep Wrangler
Then went and saw WRNGLR down the road to catch up and get some half-doors off him (cheers man) and learn some more history of my new beast, then went to ARB HQ to see badnuz and show off the jeep
Will upload some pics tomorrow of it nice and clean
then drove back to auckland, traffic was fairly sweet, good drive to get used to a new car i reckon!
knackered now, bring on the all blacks and beer

Yes well errr, got called into work today 4am to 4pm. Long day.
But did manage to make up two cable dampeners using the sheeting that is used for rubber zodiacs.
Just need to get the Velcro sewn in and add some weight to make them comply with winch challenge rules. And mocked up some roll cage attachments to see if they will fit.

Re: Aug 27-28th
Well Today I finally got round to making the front bumper for the Zuk. Didn't take too long so that was good. Still needs more bolts and might modify the way it sits later on. But it just needs a paint and it should be good. Oh and got a new Battery now too. The 6 year old one finally died.
That's about it this week

It's alloy, so shouldn't be too bad.
Now let's just wait for someone to recognise what vehicle it's off...
