Got this when I tried going onto the forums. Not sure if it's my end or yours though, the connection here can be a bit dodgy, hasn't happened at home or work (that I've seen.)
Fatal error: session_start() [<a href='function.session-start'>function.session-start</a>]: Failed to initialize storage module: user (path: /opt/tmp) in /var/www/orep/includes/bootstrap.inc on line 1550

I have had the same thing a few times. Just refreshed it and it worked fine. Never thought anything of it. thought it was just my internet
Slow loading isn't much of a problem. Click submit, open the topic in another tab, and your post will be there. - Then you can close the tab that is still loading after you clicked submit.
That's what I have been doing

I have a feeling its something to do with the new release. I see they have released a new version already so maybe some issues. I'll upgrade to the new version when i get some time. slow posting is so bad, imagine slow viewing
Gidday Mike, Pages don't seem to refresh once you have made a post ie; answer a question and post it then nothing..! or it is taking way to long for the server to cycle it.. weird.. cher
Gidday Mike, Another thing is notify me on threads or PM's is not emailing me..! just thought you need to know.. as I have some PM's that I didn't know I had..lol
posting replies still take forever. site really slow and when i viewed the next page in a topic the whole page zoomed in with this at the top of it: [phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file /includes/acm/acm_apc.php on line 68: apc_store() [function.apc-store]: Potential cache slam averted for key 'f4851f53__word_censors'
IMPORTANT ----- Please try not to use PM's as they seem to be causing massive server issues. I believe the forum update has a bug in it and makes the server go from a load of .1 to 5.5 !! the posts were doing it as well but they seem to have stopped now. So when you post a pm you are making the server very very slow. I need to find a fix so until I do, try not to pm to much please.
