Neweld 130a Arc welder

Post by Filthy4x4 »

Hey guys just after some info on this welder. Cant seem to find anything useful on google.

Is it a decent(ish) welder?

I know that a 140a+ welder would be more ideal but im getting a hell good deal on it and its brand new.

Just wanting to know what the duty cycle is for 100-120a and what sized rods it prefers to chew through

Any help would be great

Cheers

Caleb

2.5 to 3.5 mm rods is its rod size, duty at that size guess about 40%

We use 3.5s at work with the 170a welders and everyone uses them at between 115-125a usually unless doing vertical up etc. thats for structural steel.

Whats the weld quality like for over 120?
