DIY Escudo bullbar

Post by Scott2007 »

Hey guys, just thought i'd share the bars i have just put on my escudo. There originally from a Mitsubishi RVR. I've made up some brackets from 6mm thick plate steel to attatch them to the factory bumper mounts. I have made the brackets strong enough to eventually hold a winch.

I have one question, where do winch bars for these trucks attach to, as i am sure the four m8 bolts that hold the factory bumper are a little light to hold a winch?

Doesn't fit too bad. :)
Suggestion : Cut off the lower arms so more tyre is presented when off roading.
I can see obstacles hitting it and twisting it up against your front guards.

Yeah i was already thinking of doing this, i will wait until i get the 30s" on and see if they will be in the way. I've mounted the bars as high as i cud so that they will be sitting at the right height for when i do a body lift.
