Hey guys. I have a '93 vitara 5 door with 193k kms on the clock that is going down the road. The roof needs repaint (clear coat buggered), couple of scrapes and scratchs etc. It has the 1600 with manual box, flows, reg and wofed. Bone stock and hasn't been hammered off road. It goes on Monday regardless but was hoping someone might be willing to part with $1500 for it. Pics can be put up of it if anyone is interested.
Cheers
Westie

bump, Even if you can let me know what they are worth it would be a help. I have already bought the handbrake a new one and this one will be given as a trade on Monday, unless it can be used by someone on here

No sweat for money straight away. If someone is keen, I'll hold it rather than trade it. Flick me a PM if you are keen.

Re: What is it worth?
shit for 1500 i'd be tempted to buy it just to sell on or give to the mrs to drive around. You not wanting to put it on trade me? I would of thought it would sell for double that if its ok condition?
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level then beat you with experiance!
Re: What is it worth?
Can't be bothered putting it on tme. I already have far too many vehicles here so this one has to go. I have been offered $2300 by one dealer and $1000 by another as a trade.
For a reged and wofed 4wd that is straight (just got some scrapes etc) I thought $1500 was a fair price for it.
The only reason I am in a hurry is that we pick up the missuses new wagon tomorrow and when that is done the trade-in side of things is off and I have to find someone to buy it, and I'm too lazy to do that

yea fair enough if i wasnt half way though trying to buy a house that i cant afford
i would snap it up for a run around/fishing vechicle but i really need every cent i can get. I'll ask around a few people, i know mum and her partner were looking for something cheap to leave at tramping tracks with out the stress if it go's missing. I'll get back to you if i come up with anything.
But hell surely someone on here has a bit of cash to snap up a bargin???

Hey Mate,
Dam if only you were closer I would have snapped it up and been on a plane already.
Hope someone buys it before a dealer get it and put it for $3k +.
Just out of curiosity do you know what it would be to get it to wellington?

Re: What is it worth?
As a dealer, if we cleaned it up and put it on the yard looking all pretty it'd probably go for $4k.
These are hard to find in good straight mechanically sound condition.
I reckon $2,500 should be relatively easily obtainable for a private sale, at $1,500 its a flippin' steal in the current Vitara market.
Hope that helps!
