clutch assembly q?

Post by J_Dub »

cant say ive ever fitted up a new clutch and pressure plate before, ive done a few used setups in the past, but have just fitted the new gear onto the 3.8, and when the pressure plate was bolted up finger tight it was sitting about 5mm off the flywheel, I tightened it all up and it all sandwiched up nicely.

I noticed the fins on the pressure plate pressed in a bit from their rest point, is this right??

sweet, they moved to a point where their sitting near flat.

but if my measurments are right, measuring the distance from plate fins to block, and bell housing to release bearing, it all seems right
