Alarm chirping when driving on bumpy roads.

Garage talk. Anything from mounting a winch to water proofing the electrics.

Alarm chirping when driving on bumpy roads.

Post by Heath »

Typical when it rains it pours. Now when I drive my bloody prado on bumpy roads the siren chirps (not full chirps though. I am picking I have a loose wire or broken wire...)

ARGHHHHH!!!

 Ohhhhh you have no idea how much that appeals to me right now.

Maybe a thousand rounds of soviet 7.62 full metal jackets (cant waste all of them so I'll only use a portion of my junk) and then a few litres of petrol would purge the beast of its demons...

Be thankful you don't live on the east side. No such thing as a smooth road on our side of town

Hey not fair!!!

I and my crew are trying my best to iron out the bumps, but we at Fulton Hogan only have two pavers with two crews of guys to operate them and there are 4000Kms of buggered roads in Chch. We'll get to them all eventually.

But if I was to give advice it would be to get the wife/kids a lifted car like an AWD suby or maybe a soft roader because thoase roads arent going to be smooth for quite some time and the little sports cars you guys are dreaming of for your mid life crisis wont really cut it...

If it has a siren with it's own battery back-up built in, it can be the power wire to the siren itself.
Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!
