Lsd is still playing up, havent really looked at it a hell of alot.

What I have done though, is 2" bodylift and slapped some 33's under it.

Before lift and tyres:

After bodylift:

After Tyres and painted bullbars:

Couple of Flex photos, and one of how close rear gaurd is to tyre:

Havnt changed mounts for bullbars or rear bumper at this stage, Doesnt look too bad as it is, and preferably i want to get a more solid rear bumper. Get real bad rubbing when turning sharpish, it hits the chassis, gonna wind the steering stops out when I get a chance. Also gotta bend or cut to beable to get 4Lo. and need something to replace driveshaft hoop.

Was quite surprised, thought these bigger tyres would seriously affect performance, but still seems to get along alright.

Looks good man, I cant wait till I can get some 33"s

Just out of curiosity do you have after market torsion bars? As it looks like the spring rate is to heavy for the weight of your truck as the front is barely flexing at all (And for IFS when they are set up they do get reasonable flex)

I've got Calmini ones in mine and until I put the bullbar, winch and second battery up front the spring rate was shit house but now I have a much better balance between front and rear flex.

Cheers mate.

Nope just wound up standard ones.. Still got front swaybar in though, I guess it would probably flex abit better if I took it out.

Also has anyone had a 33 on the rear wheel carrier? i wanna know if it'll fit and if the rear window will still open?

with ya 33's on the front be carefull with the idler arm, it is such a pain and bends really easy, it allso wears all the bushes on that side too, so just keep an eye on it.

also, if ya take your skid plate off there is a hose that comes from the bottom of the auto cooler just make sure that isnt rubbing against the cambelt, as in mine its just about gone through and it would have screwed my trans, luckily i saw it when we were putting the front axle in.

also keep an eye on your c.v boots, they wear prematurely aswell.

just a word of warning from somebody thats done it before.

Cheers dude, I've got an idler brace, so hopefully it should hold up allgood. Also got a new strenghtened centrelink to chuck in which will help more. and yeah I've already replaced 2 CV boots.
Not too worried about trans, as soon as it goes(its pretty farked as it is) I'll just take it off the road and put a manual in over a month or so.

the electronics will not work properly when wet. as i said chuck a dehumidifier
in the truck for a week or so. that is the best way to dry the truck out, just make sure you remember to empty the water out daily or else it stops working. if you have watery oil coming out of pinion seal your diff is full of water too.

Nice pic jase

That is true but when they dry out they all start going "green" and might work for a while before you get years full of intermittant faults that drive ya nuts. I'd be pulling all the plugs/connections apart spraying them with WD-40 or similar, unplugging the computer(s) and taking them inside and anything else you can find (electric motors etc) and sit them in a hot water cupboard. She'll be sweet

x2 my brother l law had his Terrano go into the tide up in Ahipara one year managed to get it out. He had no snorkel and the entire thing went under water. got it going drove it back to Mangonui water blasted everything and 4 cans of CRC and all the electrics were going again. He rust treated everything and sold it about 3months later. its still going to this day and that was easily 2 years ago.

Chuck your crown gear in. Not much of a job if you know how to set up bearing preloads and backlash. Worth counting the teeth first, may save a bit of hassle
Good luck.
Saw this fairly cheap trans down your way
