Escudo + Tukino

anyone tried to get up to tukino ski field with 1.6L 3 door escudo?

i'm interested in getting an early model so i can start getting into offroading but i want something that can get up to tukino in winter as well

been up there half a dozen times this season in my Surf, only once needed 4wd, mind you that time we needed all our chains and couldn't see 1 foot in front of the bonnet. Honestly it all depends on weather on the day. Get a set of descent chains (snowsweat are good, and NZ made 8) ) and you shouldn't have any problems getting up there. :wink:

Have been up there in a v6 5door escudo, the 1.6 3door is a much better 4wd so you should have no problems.
