Muriwai Beach clean up Oct 2

A 'heads up' that this annual 4x4 event is on again and support from the whole 4x4 community is welcomed. It's an earlier than usual start from the tennis court area on Forestry Rd at Muriwai... 8.30 am
That's to beat the tide and the aim is to be off the beach around 11.30am followed by a barbecue provided by the Auckland Council rangers.]

Trailers can be useful but not essential. Gloves are useful. Bags are provided

The clean-up was last week but I thought I should say thanks to all who supported the effort. We had 30 vehicles and cleaned 9 cu metres of assorted rubbish from 30km of beach in 2.5 hours.
