new UK member requires help

Post by alf »

Hia all 4x4 kiwi off roaders. Had to join one of your off road sites after a 6 mth holiday in your amazing country. I stayed in NGARUAWAHIA with a friend. She introduced me to her family, who all originate from the UK. Appart from her brotherin law who lives in TAUPO and is of NZ decent. Luckily he was into off roading in a big way, along with his son, who lives in HUNTLY. He took me out on some amazing trips around MT TARANAKI and the worlds lost highway in WANGAMONAMONA. In the UK we dont have the freedom to go off roading that you chaps have. All our forests are forbidden ground. Any off roading really has to be done on a pay and play basis. In privatly owned land and quarries. I own a 1996 3ltr diesel Toyota Hilux Surf, which is what we call a grey import from Japan. Not really been ofroading wit it yet, but itching to do some. I need some help of you if i may ask ? Having joined the site and logged in, i cannot get the videos to come up on the screen and play. Could you please help ? Thank you. I hope to return to your country as soon as i can, and do some more offroading, and go tio some meetings. Maybe meet up with some of you. Take care, and happy truckin. ALF

Hi Alf,
Easy to get them to play on-screen.
Load up to Utube, copy the unique code from the address bar (the code after the =) and paste it in between the brackets ([]) after you press the youtube button above. All done. You can preview before you post to see if it is going to work.
Welcome to ORE, and you have seen some of the best bits up in this neck of the woods.
Cheers,
I keep looking for the loose nut behind the wheel, but I can't find it!!
